Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager will oversee and manage the company's social media presence across multiple platforms. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and technical skills to create engaging content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. The ideal candidate is also knowledgeable in Shopify, has experience with video editing, and is a cat lover, reflecting our company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to align with business goals.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, graphics, and video, for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Edit and produce videos optimized for social media campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions, messages, and comments promptly.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to improve campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams to support promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize Shopify store content and integrate social media campaigns to drive sales.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in social media, e-commerce, and digital marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of social media management experience required.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Canva Video).
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify management and e-commerce integration.
  • Full Shopify development experience required for comprehensive e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
  • Must be a cat lover (yes, really—it's part of our company culture).
  • Australian work rights required for this position.
