About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Developer - Java to join our team. This role is ideal for a senior-level developer with solid Java expertise who is ready to take on both technical leadership and people management responsibilities. You will drive high-quality software development, mentor team members, and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of scalable, high-performing Java applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build RESTful microservices and APIs.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, testing, debugging, and documentation are followed.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in and promote Agile/Waterfall methodologies as required by the project.
  • Oversee and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years of solid professional experience in Java development (senior-level).

  • Technical Expertise in:- Java Foundation/Core

  • Java 8

  • Spring Boot
  • JPA, Hibernate
  • RESTful Microservices/REST APIs
  • Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent) – SQL, table structures, etc. Maven, Git
  • SDLC (Waterfall & Agile)
  • Writing meaningful unit tests using JUnit
  • API testing tools (Postman, cURL, Swagger, or equivalent)
  • API documentation (Javadocs, OpenAPI, Swagger, or equivalent)
  • Debugging Java programs

  • Writing/reading technical documentation

  • Leadership: Keen to take on people management responsibilities with proven collaboration and communication skills.

Salary: 110,000 (Max.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php110,000.00 per month
