Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or Project Manager (Non-negotiable)
  • Minimum of 5 years in software development and project management (Non-negotiable)
  • At least 1 year of experience leading and managing software development teams (Non-negotiable)

Technical Expertise

  • Proven experience in end-to-end technical project delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment (Non-negotiable)
  • Solid background in software development, with strong understanding of programming concepts, system design, and engineering best practices (Non-negotiable)
  • Deep knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and architecture review processes (Non-negotiable)
  • Hands-on experience with multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid (Non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of Agile ceremonies, artifacts, principles, and delivery cadence (Non-negotiable)
  • Experience producing and interpreting technical artifacts, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and design documentation (Non-negotiable)
  • Proficient in project management and documentation tools such as Jira (for issue tracking) and Confluence (for documentation) (Non-negotiable)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premise setups, scaling concepts, and security best practices (Non-negotiable)
  • Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and architectural evaluations (Non-negotiable)
  • Understanding of testing types (unit, integration, UAT, etc.) and bug life cycle management (Non-negotiable)
  • Experience in production deployment planning, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and patch management (Non-negotiable)
  • Working understanding of DevOps tools and deployment automation pipelines (Non-negotiable)

Leadership & Management Skills

  • Skilled in conducting efficient meetings, mentoring team members, and facilitating collaboration across multiple functions (Non-negotiable)
  • Strong capability to resolve technical issues, manage risk, and ensure consistent team productivity and output quality (Non-negotiable)
  • Knowledgeable in budgeting and resource allocation for software development projects (Non-negotiable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders (Non-negotiable)

Job Summary

The Technical Delivery Manager oversees the successful delivery of multi-technology and multi-platform solutions within the organization. Reporting to the Solutions Delivery Department Head, the role ensures that all technical deliverables are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with quality and architectural standards.

The position acts as the bridge between business, development, and technical teams, ensuring alignment across all delivery functions within the Capability and Delivery Division.
