Trade Marketing Assistant

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Trade Marketing & Merchandising Manager in executing brand activations and merchandising strategies with precision and efficiency. This includes coordinating various promotional activities, ensuring proper implementation of merchandising plans, and aligning all initiatives with the company's overall marketing and sales objectives. By actively contributing to the planning and execution of the annual business plan, this role plays a crucial part in enhancing brand visibility, driving consumer engagement, and ultimately supporting revenue growth. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, external partners, and retail stakeholders is essential to ensure that all trade marketing and merchandising efforts are seamlessly executed, well-organized, and impactful in achieving corporate goals.
- Market and Channel Analysis
- Identifies target markets and distribution channels to determine the most effective promotions and brand activations.
- Analyzes consumer behavior, competitor activities, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Data Management and Marketing Planning
- Mines, gathers, and collates relevant sales and marketing data to support the development of the Annual Marketing Intent Plan.
- Provides insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing and trade strategies.
- Promotions and Brand Activations Management
- Assist in the planning and coordinates, and executes trade promotions and brand activations across different retail and distribution channels.
- Ensures timely and effective implementation of all promotional activities in line with marketing objectives.
- Post-evaluation and Performance Monitoring
- Provides detailed post-evaluation reports on the effectiveness of all promotions and activations.
- Analyzes key performance metrics and presents findings to enhance future trade marketing strategies.
- Sales Performance Support
- Assists in managing the sell-in and sell-out of products to ensure steady inventory flow.
- Monitors product offtake and works with sales teams to address any supply and demand challenges.
JOB SPECIFICATION
A. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT/LICENSURE REQUIREMENT
a. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
B. WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT
a. At least 1-2 years of experience in trade marketing, brand activation, or sales-related roles.
b. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
c. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
d. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
e. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
C. WORKING CONDITIONS INHERENT to the JOB
a. Compressed work hours (9-hours) Monday - Friday
b. Travel to the Plant if needed
c. Occasional fieldwork to monitor brand/competitive performance
d. Occasional out-of-base travel to implement / monitor brand activation activities
e. Occasional out-of-base travel to meet and coordinate with key partners, i.e. agency, suppliers, distributors, etc. if needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
