Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to manage and enforce quality assurance and control procedures on a construction project located in General Luna, Siargao. This role involves site-based supervision, inspection of construction works and materials, and documentation of compliance with design and regulatory standards. You will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality infrastructure in one of the country's top tourism zones.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor project-specific QA/QC plans and inspection procedures
  • Conduct site inspections and testing of materials (e.g., concrete, aggregates, steel)
  • Ensure workmanship complies with drawings, specifications, and national standards
  • Review and verify method statements, ITPs, material submittals, and test results
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants for quality-related concerns
  • Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective/preventive actions
  • Maintain detailed quality documentation and reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Attend coordination and quality review meetings with the project team
  • Support internal audits and third-party inspections when applicable

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in QA/QC roles in construction (horizontal or vertical)
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with QA/QC software or documentation tools
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills
  • Physically fit and willing to work full-time on-site in General Luna (remote island setup)

Preferred:
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC)
  • Background in resort, commercial, or coastal infrastructure is a plus
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
