Reports To: Project Manager / QA/QC ManagerJob Summary:

The Office / QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project activities and deliverables comply with quality standards, specifications, and approved drawings. The role involves coordinating with project teams, consultants, and clients to implement effective quality control procedures, manage documentation, and support project execution from the office level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and implement the project's QA/QC plan and quality control procedures in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and materials to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Conduct inspection requests (IRs), material submittals, and test reports for approval.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and inspectors for inspection schedules and quality verification.
  • Monitor and record construction activities, ensuring that works conform to approved plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as checklists, test reports, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Assist in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
  • Support the Project Manager in preparing project documentation, progress reports, and transmittals.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance of delivered materials and workmanship.
  • Maintain document control for QA/QC files and ensure proper filing and retrieval of quality records.
  • Recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement measures to enhance quality performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC or construction engineering (office-based or site coordination).
  • Strong knowledge of construction standards, materials, and testing procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with AutoCAD and document control systems.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
