Common BOH Roles

  • Prep Cook/Line Cook: Prepares ingredients (chopping, portioning), follows recipes, sets up stations, cooks dishes, and ensures food quality and timely delivery.
  • Expeditor: Manages the flow of orders from kitchen to FOH, ensuring accuracy and timing.
  • Kitchen/BOH Manager: Oversees staff, manages inventory, enforces food safety (HACCP), controls costs, and coordinates with the Front of House.

Key Responsibilities
