Position Overview:

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist with a strategic focus on attracting top talent in the blue-collar and agribusiness sectors. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sourcing candidates through platforms such as SEEK, LinkedIn, and industry-specific channels, while also leveraging networks and alternative recruitment methods to reach qualified professionals. This role requires a proactive approach to building strong talent pipelines and meeting the organization's hiring needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for blue-collar and agribusiness roles, including farm operations, machinery operators, technicians, and other trade positions.
  • Source talent through SEEK, LinkedIn, industry-specific job boards, community networks, and referrals.
  • Strategically explore new sourcing avenues and recruitment networks to expand reach in the agribusiness and blue-collar sectors.
  • Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit for client requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment metrics, and reporting in internal systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand role requirements, timelines, and industry-specific considerations.
  • Stay informed about labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and industry best practices relevant to agribusiness and blue-collar sectors.
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives to attract candidates in competitive blue-collar markets.
