Job Summary:

The Front Desk Officer is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and assisting guests with inquiries. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt and courteous service.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently using the hotel's property management system (PMS).
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and room assignments accurately.
  • Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries professionally.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, promotions, and local attractions.
  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or vocational diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in front desk or customer service (hotel experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Neat appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Must be willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays
