About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cook to join our team at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION' in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental. As a fulltime Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing a variety of delicious and visually appealing meals using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Ensuring all dishes adhere to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, following all food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Assisting in menu planning and development, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance the dining experience
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to provide efficient and timely service to customers
  • Participating in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cook in a similar hospitality or food service environment
  • Proficient in a range of cooking techniques and familiar with various cuisines
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff
