Analyst Programmer

Job Purpose:

The Analyst Programmer for Support is responsible for the maintenance of existing LWT applications. Monitors and ensures smooth operation of assigned programs and responds to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding.

The Analyst Programmer will be working closely with clients through a series of actions via the ticketing system, email and calls to help set up systems or resolve application issues.

The role will also be involved in working and supporting the roll-out of new system installations, working closely with different groups within the Technical Services Team.

Supports the Service Desk Manager to fulfil his/her roles and objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

· Ensures smooth operation of existing LWT applications by maintaining, monitoring, diagnosis and resolution of application faults and issues.

· Will be part of the 24/7 Support roster to monitor and manage Severity 1 tickets that may arise during their roster or schedule of duty

· Ensures continuous communication with client up to the resolution of the issue.

· Ensures proper logging of tickets for monitoring and updates.

· Documents all work by complying to the set of standards in the LWT Software Team.

· Provides support in the installations, configurations and troubleshooting of new LWT Systems for deployment.

Processes/Duties:

· Maintains, monitors existing LWT systems.

· Records, troubleshoots system problems, diagnoses application faults and communicates with clients via email and phone for details and resolution of issues.

· Manages open tickets properly by responding and attending to tickets according to priority.

· Responds to issues within the agreed SLAs and provides regular status update to clients.

· Debugs, codes, tests and deploys changes in accordance with the established process of the team.

· Provides support in installation, configuration and troubleshooting for new client installs.

· Documents all relevant changes related to the resolution of issues by complying with the set of standards and established process within the LWT Software Team.

· Establishes and maintains conformance with ISO standards within the context of the existing ISMS framework.

· Establishes good relationship and rapport with clients as well as with all members of the LWT Software Team.

· Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant IT related discipline

· Minimum of 2-3 years' experience specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent

· Must have experience in: MS SQL Server, Javascript, CSS, HTML, JQuery, Web Services, Window Services, VB.Net/C#, XML, XSLT

· Experience or background in VBScript/ASP Classic

· Microsoft Azure Platform (desirable but not required)

· Strong Communication Skills - Excellent Spoken & Written English

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong sense of urgency

· Expert knowledge of a particular technology/language or unit specific application, software design, debugging, development fundamentals/documentation/testing/requirements, source code control/version control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
