Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of robotics engineers, technicians, and programmers.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to enhance productivity and skillsets.

Project Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute robotics projects from concept to deployment.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

System Design & Integration

  • Oversee the design, programming, and integration of robotic systems into production or service workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, mechanical) to ensure systems align with business requirements.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate robotics technologies and vendors.

Maintenance & Optimization

  • Establish preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot system failures.
  • Analyze performance data to optimize system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement upgrades or modifications to meet evolving operational needs.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all robotics systems comply with industry safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and training for personnel.

Research & Innovation

  • Stay current with emerging technologies in robotics and automation.
  • Propose innovations that improve processes, reduce costs, or enhance capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in STEM education or robotics instruction.
  • Hands-on experience with educational robotics platforms (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms/Spike, VEX IQ, Arduino, etc.).
  • Familiarity with programming languages used in education (e.g., Scratch, Python, Blockly).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
