Planning Manager for food trading company in Manila

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Designing international purchasing strategies for food related items
  • Build relationships and negotiates contracts with international suppliers
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Responsible for managing inventory levels and purchase orders to ensure that there is sufficient stock to meet customer demands.
  • Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Attend to client and suppliers inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of 5 years experience in planning and purchasing of international raw materials for food trading or any related experience

* Must be knowledgeable in importation process for food materials

* Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance and certifications for international purchasing of food materials (like FDA, BOC, etc..)

* Good communication skills

* Willing to work in Ermita Manila

* With background in supply chain (must be food related)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
