SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Senior Manager – Back Office oversees essential support functions including Finance, HR, Administration, Infrastructure, and Marketing. This role ensures that core operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with business goals.

You will lead operational excellence across back-office teams, streamline processes, implement best practices, and support company growth through strong planning and data-driven decisions. You will also partner closely with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives, strengthen internal controls, optimize workflows, and enhance both employee and operational effectiveness across all support areas.

YOU WILL:

  • Lead and manage daily operations across Finance, HR, Admin, Infrastructure, and Marketing support teams.
  • Oversee process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational standardization across all back-office functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align back-office operations with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to measure efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement technology, automation, and tools that enhance accuracy, productivity, and scalability of back-office processes.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and adherence to company policies, regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Support strategic projects and initiatives led by senior leadership, including organizational planning and business expansion.
  • Lead a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within all support teams.
  • Manage resource planning, budgeting, capacity management, and workload prioritization.
  • Provide coaching, development, and performance management for supervisors and support team members.

YOU MUST HAVE / BE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, Finance, HR, or any related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in back-office operations, shared services, or support functions, with 3+ years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of core support functions such as Finance, HR operations, Administration, and Facilities/Infrastructure.
  • Experience running multi-department operations within fast-paced or high-growth environments.
  • Skilled in process improvement, project management, and operational analysis.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools, spreadsheets, workflow systems, and modern business applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with local and global counterparts.
  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Experience with automation, digital tools, or shared service optimization is a plus.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification is an advantage.
