PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

As a Pool Technician you will oversee the operation of the pool area and lead a team of pool attendants to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of guests. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, enforcing safety protocols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining pool facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of pool attendants, and support staff
  • Assign duties, set schedules, and provide guidance to ensure efficient and effective performance
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pool area, including opening, and closing procedures, and equipment maintenance
  • Coordinate pool maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, vacuuming, chemical testing, and water quality management
  • Ensure compliance with health, and safety standards
  • Enforce pool rules, regulations, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
  • Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities, and equipment
  • Manage inventory of pool supplies, equipment, and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of pool facilities, equipment, and furniture as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and expenditures
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address incidents such as water rescues, medical emergencies, and severe weather events

REQUIREMENT

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of pool attendants
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important for effectively communicating with staff, patrons, and management
  • Ability to train new pool attendants and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for existing staff
  • Capacity to identify and resolve issues that arise in the pool facility, including equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
  • Willing to be based in Alphaland Balesin Island Club, located in Polillo, Quezon Province
