STEP is seeking talented Chemical Technicians to join the team of our client located in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Chemical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the laboratory and technical services operations. What you'll be doing

  • Conduct a variety of chemical analyses and tests to ensure product quality and consistency
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Collect, prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures
  • Document and record test results, observations and data in a detailed and organized manner
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Food Technology, and other allied courses.
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Licensed Chemist, Chemical Technician is REQUIRED for the position.
  • Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, such as spectrophotometers, titration systems and chromatography
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols
