We are seeking an experienced Product & Project Manager based in Manila to manage the entire product lifecycle, acting as the crucial link between our international R&D team and our Asian factory partners.

Your Key Responsibilities

This role is the critical link between R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams, driving innovation and execution:

Product Strategy & Innovation

  • Own the Product Roadmap: Define, manage, and execute the product development roadmap for assigned product categories, focusing on swimming pool, home, and outdoor lifestyle equipment.
  • Design & Innovation: Work directly with factory partners to develop and innovate new designs and optimizations for Madimack's next-generation electrical and control products.
  • User-Centric Design: Maintain a strong focus on user acceptance and installer requirements/optimizations, ensuring products are intuitive, easy to install, and maintain in the field.

Project Execution & Factory Liaison

  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams (including Engineering, Sourcing, and Quality) to ensure products move smoothly through design, tooling, pilot runs, and mass production.
  • Timeline & Budget Control: Oversee and manage the end-to-end project timelines and budgets for New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring strict adherence to launch dates and keeping projects on time and budget.
  • Specification & Communication: Translate market requirements and internal specifications into clear, precise technical documentation for OEM/ODM factory partners.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and refine project management processes to minimize delays, manage scope creep, and ensure efficient communication between the design team and the factory floor.

Quality, Compliance & Documentation

  • Testing & Compliance: Own and coordinate the entire testing process to meet stringent global certification requirements, including UL, CE, ETL, Energy Star, and SAA.
  • Quality & Verification: Coordinate design verification testing (DVT), process verification testing (PVT), and rigorous quality assurance checks with factory Quality Control (QC) teams.
  • Manuals & Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive manuals and technical documentation to effectively support international sales and after-sales service teams.
  • Certification Documentation: Manage the collection, verification, and submission of all required certification documents and technical files for global import/export.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Product Manager or Project Manager role specifically within the OEM manufacturing of electrical or electronic equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex NPI cycles with a strong focus on cost and schedule control.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on understanding of electrical schematics, component specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Direct, verifiable experience coordinating testing and documentation for major international certifications (e.g., UL, CE, ETL, SAA).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) for high-level international communication with R&D, factories, and commercial teams.
  • Based in Manila or nearby cities.
  • Swimming pool industry knowledge is highly advantageous.

Preferred: Experience writing technical manuals or installation guides for global markets.
