We are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and experienced Accountant to join our growing team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers in compliance with banking standards
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial adjustments
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory reports (e.g., BSP, BIR, SEC reports)
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and BSP guidelines
  • Monitor cash flow, loan accounts, and bank transactions
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate year-end audit activities
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls for all accounting processes
  • Support digital transformation and automation of accounting processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
  • At least 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards, BSP regulations, and tax laws
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
