Job Description – General Accounting Staff

The General Accounting Staff is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions. This role supports overall accounting operations, helps maintain financial records, and ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, vouchers, and adjustments.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
  • Support payroll processing and government statutory reports (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and records.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related course.
  • Preferably with 1 year of experience in general accounting; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience with accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
