As we navigate the complex landscape of global energy transitions, our
Energy Transition Advisory
service is enabling the development of structures, services, and cross-industry collaboration needed to advance the evolution of energy systems. We are looking to bring more talent to help us realize our goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drive
  client-related engagements in Energy Transition
  with the following key themes:
  decarbonization, renewable energy and distributed energy solutions, energy storage solutions, e-mobility, sustainable fuels
  , and regulatory and policy frameworks governing them, ensuring the delivery of high-quality advisory services and contributing to their success in attaining their energy transition goals.
• Guide clients in developing strategies in integrating sustainability and low-carbon investments into their business models, governance structures, risk management, systems, and processes, ensuring a holistic approach to energy transition.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, regulatory bodies, and technology providers in the energy transition space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and engineering experts, to provide holistic solutions to clients' energy transition challenges.
• Co-manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue generation, while ensuring alignment with the firm's broader strategic objectives.
• Contribute and support activities towards the sustained prominence of SGV's climate change and sustainability services practice by serving as a subject matter expert on energy regulatory and policy frameworks, providing clients with strategic insights and guidance.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A degree in the following fields (or related disciplines): energy engineering, electrical/ mechanical/ chemical engineering, management, or economics
• At least 3-5 years' professional experience working in the energy and power sector
  . Experience in
  energy regulatory
  ,
  energy economics
  and markets, and/or
  renewable energy project development
  is highly advantageous.
• With advanced working knowledge of one or more of the following key themes –
  decarbonization
  ,
  renewable energy and distributed energy solutions
  ,
  energy storage solutions
  , e-mobility, sustainable fuels, and the regulatory and policy frameworks governing them.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of the structures, policies, regulations, and market fundamentals of the Philippines' power industry.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand, analyze, interpret, and derive insight from complex quantitative data and information.
• Working knowledge in evaluating an energy project's technical and financial feasibility.
• Experience in analyzing or modelling the energy system or key component parts of it.
