Branch Accounting Staff

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy or BS in Accounting Technology or Management Accounting
  • At least 6months to 1 year of work experience
  • Knowledgeable in Accounting process and financial statements
  • Must be technically proficient with the latest accounting systems.
  • Must have a strong personality and with keen eye for details.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Branch Accounting Staff is responsible in maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budgets and close processes, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. You will also be assisting the accounting manager as needed and respond to information requests by management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Shall prepare working papers and financial reports for all assigned branches;

  2. Shall review and validate all requisitions made by all assigned branches;

  3. Shall monitor receivables and payables of all assigned branches;

  4. Shall monitor daily collections and ensures accuracy and timeliness of deposits of all assigned branches;

  5. Shall monitor petty cash fund disbursements of all assigned branches;

  6. Shall monitor load balances and payables to LTO IT providers of all assigned branches;

  7. Shall prepare monthly inventory count of all fixed assets of all assigned branches;

  8. Shall prepare depreciation schedule of fixed assets of all assigned branches;

  9. Shall demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills;

  10. Shall perform various complex account analyses and reconciliations;

  11. Shall adhere to the Record Retention Policy to facilitate the Orderly File System of Permanent Records;

  12. Shall prepare reports for all findings upon validation of daily transactions and reports of all assigned branches;

  13. Shall update all department official Google Sheets portal consistently and at all times; and

  14. Shall perform justifiable duties and other functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior and/or management.
