The Logistic & Inventory Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, safety, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company standards while leading warehouse staff to achieve operational goals. This role plays a vital part in supporting the supply chain by ensuring timely and cost-effective storage, movement, and distribution of goods.
KEY AREAS OF FOCUS FOR THE LOGISTIC & INVENTORY MANAGER:
Warehouse Operations Oversight
· Drive improvements in our technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced guest service. Modernize and integrate core hotel systems such as PMS and POS.
Inventory Management
· Ensure real-time accuracy of inventory through regular audits, reconciliations, and monitoring of stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
· Manage inbound and outbound transportation, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery performance and coordination with logistics providers.
Team Supervision & Development
· Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics personnel. Promote accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement & Cost Optimization
· Identify bottlenecks, analyze operations, and implement improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Introduce automation and system enhancements.
Reporting & Compliance
· Maintain accurate documentation, prepare performance reports, and ensure compliance with company policies, audits, and safety regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
· Ensure timely and accurate inventory records, stock replenishment, and physical audits.
· Oversee transportation scheduling, routing, and cost efficiency of deliveries.
· Lead and develop warehouse staff through training, task assignments, and performance monitoring.
· Ensure warehouse compliance with safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
· Implement cost-control measures to optimize logistics and inventory expenses.
· Prepare regular reports on inventory accuracy, efficiency, and warehouse KPIs.
· Collaborate with procurement, finance, and logistics teams to align operational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
· At least five (5) years of progressive experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably within FMCG.
· At least five (5) years in a managerial role overseeing warehouse teams and operations.
· Proven expertise in warehouse operations, inventory control, and cost optimization.
· Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, and data analytics tools.
· Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
· High adaptability to manage fast-paced and dynamic supply chain challenges.
