JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting & Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial management, accounting operations, and administrative functions. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and efficient administrative support for daily operations. The Accounting / Admin Manager will supervise accounting staff, coordinate with auditors, manage budgeting processes, and oversee administrative services such as procurement, office management, and logistics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounting and Finance:
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure timely filing of taxes, remittances, and other government compliance requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to maintain strong financial health.
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Administration:
- Oversee general administrative functions, including office management, procurement, logistics, and asset management.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Supervise administrative personnel and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Coordinate with various departments for administrative and financial support.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and safekeeping of all financial and administrative records.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements.
- Support HR and operations in budgeting, resource planning, and expense monitoring.
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor accounting and admin staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
- Recommend process improvements and automation for financial and administrative workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the company's values and ethical standards in all dealings.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in government compliance and external audit coordination.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Willing to work in Filinvest City, Alabang
