Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of our business-to-business (B2B) sales by identifying, acquiring, and managing large corporate and institutional clients. This role focuses on enterprise-level accounts, such as fleet companies, tour operators, government agencies, and corporate clients with specific transportation or promotional needs. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of complex sales cycles, a strong network in relevant industries, and a proven track record of securing and maintaining high-value accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and target new enterprise opportunities within a designated territory. This includes lead generation, cold outreach, and attending industry events and trade shows to build a robust pipeline.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise accounts. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Strategic Sales: Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the enterprise segment. This involves negotiating complex contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to effectively position our products and services. Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales performance and market dynamics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the store's sales, service, and parts departments to ensure a seamless client experience from initial inquiry to post-sale support. Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and materials for B2B clients.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on selling high-value products or services to enterprise-level accounts.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales quotas.
  • Experience in the automotive, powersports, or a related industry is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A strategic and solution-oriented mindset.
