Email Marketing Specialist

The Role
We're looking for a proactive, solutions focused CRM Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for end-to-end campaign management that engages and converts our core audience which includes schools, suppliers and parents. You'll have a blend of technical capabilities, great stakeholder engagement and the ability to execute with pace and precision with content skills a plus. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across product and technology, data and operations to steer prioritisation, connect and segment data and measure the impact of your activity.
What You'll Be Doing
· Collaborating with cross-functional team to build and maintain a campaign calendar that engages schools, parents and suppliers across the customer lifecycle, using channels such as email, push notifications, in-product alerts, and website.
· Coordinate content, build templates and schedule activity focused on driving engagement and conversion of key customer segments
· Building, testing and scheduling emails and push notifications using our marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot).
· Supporting the Growth Marketing Manager and working with the marketing team to ideate, deploy and iteratively improve automated multichannel customer lifecycle journeys.
· Reporting on, and analysing the performance of campaigns, and developing tests to optimise future performance based on past results.
· Segmentation, list management and unsubscribe reconciliation.
· Ad-hoc marketing requests as required, such as website content updates, organic social posting, event organisation support, or collaborating with our paid media agency.
What You'll Bring
· 2+ years of hands-on email marketing and CRM experience, using a tool such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ActiveCampaign or MailChimp
· Experience managing segmentation, email list hygiene, and unsubscribes
· Proficiency with measurement tools and methodologies for tracking, analysis, and reporting
· Competence with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
· Ability to write clearly and creatively and contribute to content development
· Exceptional organisational skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities at once
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
· A self-starter attitude with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
Nice to have (but not essential):
· Knowledge of paid ads (Google ads, Meta and LinkedIn)
· Familiarity with A/B testing and personalisation tactics
· Design or copy writing experience is a bonus
