Job Description – Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and client specifications. The Project Manager will lead project teams, manage resources, and oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to approved scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance, direction, and performance oversight.
  • Develop project plans including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Monitor daily site operations, progress, and quality to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on all projects.
  • Conduct progress meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and submit reports, documentation, and project status updates to management and clients.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure all permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are complied with.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing completed projects and applying lessons learned to future initiatives.

Qualification:

  • Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer and hold a valid Master Plumber License.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in construction project management, preferably in infrastructure, building, or waterworks projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, plumbing systems, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management tools and MS Office applications (MS Project/Primavera/AutoCAD preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to be assigned or relocated anywhere as required by project location.
