Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess costs and risks of projects.
  • Manage and track project costs, variations, and value engineering proposals.
  • Prepare and review contracts, tender documents, and procurement strategies.
  • Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure cost-effective agreements.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify contractor claims.
  • Assess, certify, and process interim and final payments for contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide financial reports and cost analysis to management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and contractual obligations.
  • Advise on potential risks, disputes, and claims management.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, or project estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with regular site visits.
  • Collaboration with project managers, engineers, architects, and suppliers.
  • May require overtime to meet project deadlines.
