About the Role:

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor – Civil/Architect with extensive experience in fit-out and office fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring that budgets are properly managed, expenditures are controlled, and value is delivered without compromising quality.

The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project risks, negotiating with contractors, and collaborating closely with the project team to ensure the smooth delivery of fit-out projects within budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost plans for fit-out projects.
  • Evaluate project drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine accurate cost implications.
  • Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide regular cost reports to management.
  • Conduct tendering processes: evaluate bids, prepare tender documents, and recommend contractors/suppliers.
  • Perform value engineering to optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality and design intent.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts, claims, and variations with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor project expenditures against budget allocations.
  • Conduct site visits to verify completed works against claims and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Designers, and Contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect (Preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, with at least 3 years focused on fit-out or office fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications related to interior fit-outs.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software, Google Suite, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of contract administration, tendering, and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php28, Php32,000.00 per month
