BARISTA

The role involves preparing excellent coffee drinks and a variety of future beverages that Biggs will launch, while delivering exceptional guest service in a vibrant coffee bar environment. Responsibilities include following recipes to create beverages, engaging with guests to suggest drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized coffee bar.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a related role is an advantage.
  • Proficient in operating espresso machines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail in consistently preparing high-quality beverages.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
  • Open to training with colleagues on barista skill sets.
  • Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items (e.g., coffee bags, equipment).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience in handling guest inquiries at Biggs Inc.
  • Skilled in addressing and resolving guest complaints.
  • Open to cross-training in both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) roles for future growth.
  • Willing to be deployed at BIGGS CAMALIG or BIGGS POLANGUI.
