Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of PFRS, Tax laws, and BIR compliance
  • Experienced in working paper and FS disclosure preparation
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems; ERP experience preferred
  • Excellent Analytical, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and adaptable to systems transition.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30AM-6:00PM)

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Statement Preparation and Review

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PFRS.
  • Review accounting schedules, adjusting entries, and trial balances prior to audit.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting working papers for audit.
  • Draft FS notes and disclosures in line with regulatory and audit requirements.

2. Audit Coordination

  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
  • Review audit findings and assist in resolving issues related to accounting and reporting.
  • Ensure timely submission of all audit schedules and management representations.

3. Tax and Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and review annual income tax computations.
  • Ensure alignment of accounting records with BIR and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Monitor tax updates and coordinate with the Accounting Manager on compliance improvements.

4. ERP System Implementation and Process Improvement

  • Participate in the ERP implementation, focusing on financial reporting modules and system mapping.
  • Assist in designing workflows, COA structures, and reporting templates in the ERP.
  • Test, validate, and document system outputs for management use.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal financial controls.

5. Financial Analysis and Support

  • Provide analytical insights on variances, profitability, and account movements.
  • Support the Comptroller in consolidation and management reporting.
