Job Purpose

  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, maintain high-quality accounting entries, and uphold a strong financial control environment.
  • Collaborate with other Finance teams to identify process and reporting improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end close process, including full Profit and Loss ownership, balance sheet review, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare accounting entries accurately and in compliance with accounting standards and internal deadlines.
  • Conduct regular balance sheet reviews to confirm the validity of assets and liabilities, supported by proper documentation.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external auditors for assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in management reporting to boost efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and provide necessary clarifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and management analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications such as CPA, CFC, CFA, or CMA are preferred.
  • Strong technical, financial, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in business partnering are advantageous.
  • Skilled in structured problem-solving and financial modeling to support analytics needs.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and accountable with strong ownership of deliverables.
  • Reliable team player with professionalism and composure during high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Hyperion Financial Management System and Workday Adaptive Insights is an advantage.
