IT Support Staff

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is REQUIRED for this position
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating system
  • Able and amenable to travel to stores (Calabarzon, Mindoro and Metro Manila)
  • Can drive 4 wheels vehicle with driver's license

Job Description

  • Install and configure computer hardware operating system and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer system and networks
  • Talk staff or client through series of action, either face to face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Replace parts as required
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Priorities and manage many open cases at one time
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
  • Willing and able to start ASAP
