JOB SUMMARY

The Guest Service Officer is responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences by providing warm, efficient, and professional front desk services. This role ensures smooth check-in and check-out processes, handles guest inquiries, manages reservations, and coordinates with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs. The Guest Service Officer upholds the hotel's service standards and contributes to creating a welcoming and memorable stay for all guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Answer phone calls, handle reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests
  • Resolve guest issues politely and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for front office operations
  • Uphold hotel standards in appearance, communication, and service

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (Hospitality Management is a plus)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in front office or guest services is an advantage
  • Proficient in communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software (hotel PMS training provided)
  • Able to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and handle guest concerns professionally
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Friendly, proactive, and a team player
