Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality customer service and technical support for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 users
  • Troubleshoot Outlook issues including configuration, performance, plugins, caching, and retention policies
  • Support mailbox access rights, delegation, and Send As/On Behalf permissions
  • Manage and resolve issues across Outlook desktop and mobile platforms
  • Configure and maintain Exchange Online mailboxes, permissions, and policy settings
  • Analyze Outlook logs and user reports to identify and resolve technical problems
  • Assist users with authentication and MFA issues, including Microsoft Authenticator support
  • Understand and troubleshoot network-related issues (Zscaler, VPN, routing) affecting mail performance
  • Support user onboarding and Microsoft 365 migration activities
  • Configure personal tags, archiving, and retention policies
  • Review email headers to trace and troubleshoot mail delivery issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to streamline support processes and enhance documentation
  • Stay up to date with evolving technologies and internal processes to improve service delivery

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience with troubleshooting email issues including configuration, performance, plugins, and caching
  • Familiarity with Exchange Online, including mailbox permissions, delegation, and policy management
  • Understanding of mail flow concepts, email headers, and message tracing tools
  • Proficient in analyzing Outlook logs and user-reported issues to identify root causes
  • Working knowledge of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Microsoft Authenticator
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., Zscaler, VPNs, DNS, routing) and their impact on email services
  • Experience with mobile and desktop email client configurations
  • Ability to support Microsoft 365 onboarding and migration processes
  • Knowledge of retention and archiving policies, including personal tags
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tools, technologies, and internal processes
