Established in 1997, Golfasian is the leading golf tour operator in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, & Laos.

With our continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Golf Travel Sales Consultant to join our leadership team, based in Manila.

Functions as a sales executive in the Sales department to support our business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable, and be a creative problem solver who can think outside the box while meeting short-term objectives and staying focused on long-term company success.

Main responsibilities of the Golf Travel Sales Consultant:

  • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them of appropriate destinations, golf courses, accommodations, activities, and costs
  • Issue quotations to and close business from interested parties
  • Use promotional techniques and prepare offers to sell golf packages
  • Maintain financial sales records
  • Meet profit and sales targets
  • Host VIP clients as required

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of the golf industry, destination management, and tour operators is an advantage
  • Outstanding leadership, proven financial stewardship, & excellent communication skills are required
  • Enthusiasm to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to effectively manage time and schedules
  • Ability to work independently and proactively

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the travel industry
  • Strong sales and commercial awareness
  • Sound knowledge of Philippine travel destinations, markets, and trends
  • Ability to interact and communicate, and negotiate effectively
  • Fluent in English
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Business, or relevant field
  • Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
