Job Title: Sales Executive (Ready-Mix Concrete)
Position Summary: The Sales Executive for Ready-Mix Concrete is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets for ready-mix concrete products. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing technical and product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive will work closely with the sales team, production team, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in the construction industry.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide technical and product information to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Quotations and Proposals:
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts to customers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales deals.
- Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and complete.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of ready-mix concrete.
- Work with the logistics team to manage delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and payment collection.
5. Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the sales manager.
- Track and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
6. Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry standards, and best practices.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical and sales skills.
- Provide feedback to the production team on customer needs and product improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in sales or concrete technology are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction or ready-mix concrete industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Good understanding of ready-mix concrete products and their applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
Working Conditions:
- This role involves working in both office and field environments.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to conduct site visits and inspections.
- Capacity to lift and carry promotional materials and samples.
