
Training Assistant

Job Role:
The successful candidate will champion and spearhead initiatives in designing training programs and materials, facilitating learning sessions and workshops, coordinating training logistics and schedules, and monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness. He/She will play a key role in driving learning and development initiatives and supporting capacity-building efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulates teaching outline; determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, on-the-job, demonstration, etc that best suit the needs of the participants; and develops training program and module.
Develops teaching aids such as training handouts, multimedia visual aids and other materials that could be used as reference for the participants.
Schedules training and prepares necessary logistics for training implementation.
- Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques and makes suggestions on how to improve training program and design.
- Evaluates sales performance in relation to the trainings implemented to ensure that trainings are translated into skills and gauges training effectiveness through a competency tracking system.
- Gathers concerns and feedback pertaining to microinsurance encountered in the field; ensures to log it on a database; taps specific persons involved to solve the problem; and monitors the progress of the concern.
Job Qualifications:
- An excellent communicator (both written and oral)
- A data-driven, people person who is eager and willing to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Familiar with Canva and other video/visual editing tools (an advantage, but not required)
- A strategic thinker who drives positive change and fosters an innovative team culture
- Customer-centric and empathetic in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Passionate about training and development, with an analytical mindset for monitoring and evaluation
