Job Description: Inventory Associate – Watsons / Kitting

The Inventory Associate – Watsons/Kitting is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels through routine audits, efficient kitting processes, and close coordination with internal teams. This role plays a key part in preparing and assembling kitted products for Watsons and other retail channels, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfilment, and compliance with quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

  • Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock records in manual logs or ERP systems.
  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials or products.

Kitting Operations

  • Assemble kits accurately based on work orders or client specifications (e.g., Watsons SKUs).
  • Verify that all components are complete and in good condition before sealing and labeling.
  • Prepare finished kits for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct quality checks during kitting to avoid errors or defects.
  • Follow company SOPs, safety guidelines, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Report and segregate any damaged or defective inventory items.

Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to align kitting schedules and inventory updates.
  • Assist with stock transfers, returns, and proper storage procedures.
  • Support the organization and optimization of warehouse space and materials.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college-level education is an advantage.
  • Experience in inventory management, kitting, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially during repetitive tasks.

Work Environment

  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and physical tasks.
  • Utilization of standard warehouse equipment (e.g., barcode scanners, pallet jacks).
  • Fast-paced, collaborative, and team-driven workspace.
