We are seeking a proactive and skilled Accounting Specialist to immediately join our fast-growing team in the renewable energy sector. This critical role involves supervising the transactional accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Quality Control: Oversee and review the work of Accounting Assistants, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Billing and Revenue: Manage the end-to-end billing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • General Accounting: Execute and review complex general ledger entries, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with inventory tracking.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and prepare essential financial reports, schedules, and summaries for management review.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all local regulations, including accurate and timely filing for BIR compliance.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as the primary accounting liaison with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to ensure financial records align with operational activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in general accounting, specifically involving AP/AR, billing, and financial reporting.

  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and practical experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).

  • Certification: CPA license or equivalent certification is a significant advantage.

  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the Solar, Renewable Energy, or Utility industry is preferred.
  • Start Date: Must be available to start ASAP.
