The Accountant bears the responsibility of managing and analyzing financial records, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivering accurate financial data to inform business decisions. The role encompasses the preparation of financial statements, budget management, maintenance of general ledger accounts, and execution of audits.

Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


• Manage monthly, quarterly, tax compliance, and annual closings.


• Monitor and analyze accounting data to create financial reports and forecasts.


• Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of accounting entries.


• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).


• Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions.


• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.


• Maintain fixed asset records and conduct depreciation calculations.


• Maintain and generate government compliances and reportorial requirements


• Identify opportunities for efficiency and operational improvements.

Requirements:


• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.


• Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.


• Skills:

-      Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
