PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We're seeking a motivated Accountant to support financial reporting and reconciliation processes in a hybrid, night shift setup. This role is designed for early-career accounting professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, SOX compliance, and stakeholder support. You will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, while also supporting process improvements and global accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and maintain RCA and Manual Adjustment trackers to monitor issues and next steps for resolution.
• Identify action owners and corrective measures; connect or correct based on ownership (FinRep or other stakeholders).
• Validate corrective actions and update trackers to confirm resolution of issues.
• Provide support in answering queries from stakeholders related to Blackline.
• Monitor unassigned reconciliation accounts in Blackline.
• Manage BRAVO submissions (monthly and quarterly).
• Generate journal entries from ERP systems (e.g., SAP) quarterly and prepare journal entry reports for approvers.
• Track journal entry approvals in line with SOX requirements.
• Perform monthly interface reconciliations, including trial balance proof and journal entry verification.
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet reconciliation completeness templates.
• Monitor reconciliation completion for non-Blackline management reporting companies.
• Track unposted or in-progress journal entries in SAP.
• Participate in projects and handle ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work night shift.
• Stable internet connection and amenable to work on-site in Parañaque City (2–3 times per week).
• Collaborative team player with eagerness to learn.
