Southwestern University Medical Center is looking for a Food Service Worker who prioritizes high standard of quality, sanitation and safety in food preparation and serving of meals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform food preparation as needed by the Cook and making sure that there enough supplies for the everyday menu and meal plans
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work tables, burners, food carts and utensils
  • Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • Ensures that proper storage and safekeeping of food and its ingredients are observed.
  • Participates in inventory, stocking and preparation of reports
  • Ensures that finished food is properly dished out.
  • Serving the prepared meals to the patients and clients

Qualifications:

  • At least College Level
  • With at least a year of relevant work experience
  • Displays good coordination and organization skills
  • Possesses analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A team player
