JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Production Line Management

  • Ensure balanced workload through line balancing and monitor Work-In-Process (WIP) levels
  • Implement and reinforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the production line
  • Monitor production performance and address process deviations and delays
  • Demonstrated experience in any manufacturing environment with understanding of production workflows and operational requirements

2. Process Improvements

  • Promote and initiate continuous process improvements to enhance quality, output, and cost-efficiency
  • Lead small group activities or Kaizen initiatives to resolve recurring production issues
  • Basic knowledge of Kaizen methodology and continuous improvement principles required

3. Administrative Function / Safety / 5S

  • Manage request for manpower, hiring and other manpower movements.
  • Assign roles, monitor performance, and ensure team compliance with processes and deadlines
  • Experience leading teams of 10 or more people in a production environment
  • Oversee training of new production staff
  • Manage performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, and approval of employee leaves
  • Handle labor relations concerns including grievance management, disciplinary actions, and union matters
  • Coordinate with support departments for smooth operations
  • Ensure strict implementation of safety protocols and 5S workplace standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related field.
  • Understanding of production processes, equipment operation, and workflow optimization.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in a supervisory or leadership role, handling frontline production teams.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to motivate, guide, and discipline production staff.
  • Ability to delegate tasks, set performance expectations, and manage team schedules.
  • Competent in conflict resolution and maintaining team morale.
  • Quick to assess operational issues and make informed decisions.
  • Effective in both written and verbal communication.
