About the role

Machi-Machi is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista/Cashier to join our vibrant team at our milk tea location in Quezon City Metro Manila (Opus Mall and Robinsons Magnolia). In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality milk tea and beverage products, and efficiently operating the cash register.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks to customers in a fast-paced environment
  2. Operating the cash register, processing transactions, and handling cash and card payments
  3. Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the café, including the bar, seating area, and equipment
  4. Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns
  5. Collaborating with the team to maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed
  6. Adhering to all health, safety, and food handling regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role
  2. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, drink preparation, and menu offerings
  3. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a positive and engaging experience for customers
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  6. Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  7. Flexible schedule and the ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
