
Associate Director of Sales

Main Responsibility;
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, the Associate Director of Sales is responsible for implementing and overseeing all sales activities within assigned markets, ensuring revenue targets are achieved or exceeded. This role directs market segment strategies, yield management, pricing, and business intelligence, while serving as a strategic advisor to the Director of Sales on trends, competitive positioning, and revenue opportunities.
The Associate Director of Sales is also expected to be consistently present and actively participate in Executive Committee (ExCom) and Management Committee (ManCom) meetings to contribute to strategic decision-making and ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall company objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental sales targets and market share growth.
• Maximize revenue from key accounts and explore new market opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the sales team to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales on pricing, promotions, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with high-value clients and industry partners.
• Represent the company at domestic and international trade shows, events, and site inspections only when needed.
• Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts for corporate, MICE, and leisure business.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery for VIP guests and high-profile accounts.
• Ensure consistent attendance and active participation in all Executive Committee (ExCom) and
Management Committee (ManCom) meetings.
• Plan and approve sales activities and trips in coordination with the Director of Sales.
• Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance.
• Provide training and development opportunities for sales staff.
• Implement effective account management practices to retain and grow client business.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Submit timely reports including sales call plans, weekly updates, and quarterly performance .reviews.
• Uphold company policies and confidentiality standards.
