What We'll Bring:The Sales Director role will lead the FinTech vertical, driving a sales team focused on executing value creation strategies and supporting our clients' growth. Reporting to the CRO / CBO, this role leads a team of Sales Associates covering key accounts in the fintech sector. Responsibilities include developing client relationships, owning client strategy, and collaborating with internal experts to showcase TU's value proposition.
This position requires understanding market dynamics and client issues to facilitate insightful discussions supporting growth.
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, with 10+ years in management/leadership roles in Sales/Strategy/Consulting. MBA preferred.
- Ability to develop relationships, engage, advise, and communicate effectively with fintech sector leaders, demonstrating insight, flexibility, and sound judgment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills to drive business growth, with independence, initiative, business acumen, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Business maturity, leadership, listening skills, and the ability to analyze inputs from customers, partners, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Program management skills, including pipeline development and internal resource coordination to maximize conversions.
- Knowledge of software tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and exceptional presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Leading the FinTech vertical.
- Transforming understanding of client issues into insight-driven engagements.
- Leading a sales team, setting strategic direction, coaching, and executing goals.
- Achieving annual targets and understanding market needs to develop solutions.
- Building strategic engagement plans and partnerships with clients.
- Managing business pipeline and coordinating resources for opportunities.
- Supporting strategic sales initiatives and attending industry events.
- Establishing goals and development plans for team members.
- Maintaining senior relationships and engaging subject matter experts for prospect management.
- Mentoring sales associates on techniques and best practices.
- Developing and implementing a sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
- Structuring the sales team for growth opportunities.
- Setting and managing performance indicators and targets.
- Creating purpose-driven engagement for team motivation.
- Exercising leadership with gravitas and comfort with senior stakeholders.
- Building meaningful relationships and demonstrating emotional intelligence.
- Attracting, retaining, and developing talent for long-term success.
- Driving organizational performance with continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid position involving virtual and in-person work at an TU office at least two days a week.
