Job Title: Hotel Laundry Attendant (Housekeeping Support)

We are seeking a Hotel Laundry Attendant whose primary responsibility is laundry operations, with occasional support in public area cleaning and guest room cleaning as needed. This role is essential in maintaining the hotel's standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties – Laundry Operations (Main Focus):

  • Wash, dry, press, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms
  • Sort laundry items by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of the laundry area
  • Follow hotel policies on linen handling, hygiene, and safety standards

Secondary Duties – Housekeeping Support:

  • Assist in cleaning hotel public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms when needed
  • Support guest room cleaning during peak occupancy or staff shortages
  • Help with linen distribution and collection from guest rooms

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in hotel laundry or housekeeping is an advantage but not required
  • Knowledge of fabric care and laundry procedures is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Physically fit and able to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Reliable, honest, and detail-oriented
  • Willing to assist in other housekeeping duties when required

Work Schedule

  • Shift-based schedule, including weekends and holidays
