Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

  • Greet customers and receive laundry orders courteously.
  • Explain shop services, pricing, and estimated completion time.
  • Ensure accuracy in tagging and recording customer items.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

2. Laundry Operations

  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold clothes according to fabric type and service category.
  • Operate washing machines, dryers, and steam irons safely and efficiently.
  • Check garments for stains or damages and apply proper pre-treatment if needed.
  • Monitor machine cycles and ensure proper detergent or chemical usage.

3. Shop Maintenance

  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Sanitize work areas, folding tables, and machines regularly.
  • Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

4. Cash Handling & Reporting

  • Issue receipts and handle payments (cash, card, or digital).
  • Record daily sales, expenses, and inventory usage.
  • Assist in stock monitoring of detergents, plastic, and supplies.

5. Other Duties

  • Assist in pickup and delivery coordination (if applicable).
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or owner.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Preferably with prior experience in laundry operations or customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and machine operation is an advantage.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit and willing to work on weekends or holidays.
Work Schedule
  • 8-hour shift, rotating schedule
  • Must be available for day and evening shifts as part of the rotating schedule.
  • May include weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to work occasional weekend and holiday shifts as required.
