Job Summary:

The Hotel Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining service standards across all departments during their shift. Acts as the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) in the absence of senior management, handling guest concerns, operational issues, and emergency situations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service & Satisfaction

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during assigned shifts.
  • Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all departments maintain a high level of customer service.

2. Operations Oversight

  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities (front desk, public areas, outlets, guest floors, etc.) to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, security, and maintenance to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures.

3. Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and support front office and night shift staff.
  • Provide guidance and decision-making authority in the absence of department heads.
  • Conduct briefings at the beginning of the shift and ensure proper handover at the end.

4. Safety & Emergency Handling

  • Act as the emergency contact during the shift.
  • Follow hotel protocols in handling emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or guest incidents.
  • Coordinate with security and relevant teams for incident reporting and documentation.

5. Administration & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit Duty Manager's log/shift report, including guest concerns, incidents, and VIP arrivals.
  • Monitor and address overbooking situations or special guest requests.
  • Assist in managing occupancy, rate availability, and walk-in bookings when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
