Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analytics Specialist to join our team in driving data-driven decision-making across key financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support strategies across product, marketing, risk, operations, and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of data from internal systems (e.g., core banking, loan origination, mobile banking platforms).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Perform root-cause analysis and trend reporting to support business units (e.g., loans, deposits, credit risk, customer engagement).
Business Insights:
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities across customer segments and product performance.
- Support strategic planning by providing actionable recommendations backed by data.
- Collaborate with business teams to interpret data needs and translate them into analytics solutions.
Regulatory & Compliance Analytics:
- Assist in data preparation for regulatory reporting (e.g., BSP submissions, AMLC data requirements).
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with the Data Privacy Act and internal data governance policies.
Process Improvement & Forecasting:
- Use statistical and predictive modeling techniques to improve forecasting and scenario planning.
- Recommend process improvements based on operational analytics (e.g., reducing turnaround time, improving NPL ratios).
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1–3 years experience in a business analytics, data analyst, or business intelligence role.
- Preferably with exposure to a bank, fintech, or financial services environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
- Strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with data analysis using Excel, Python, or R is a plus.
- Experience with CRM or core banking systems is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
